ULIM in the focus of KBS,
one of the most popular TV channels in South Korea

Yi Nam Gi the producer of Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), one of the largest media companies in South Korea ( http://english.kbs.co.kr/), conducted a series of shootings for a cultural show. On this occasion, Korean Language and Culture Center "Se Jong" in our university presented a great show, with the participation of the passionate of one of the oldest civilizations of the world.

The journalist of "quiet mornings country" pursued a poetry recital of Korean songs, supported by ULIM students.

Kpop Dance Cover 2STORM and Fan song bands, but also the world champion Gregory Cobîleanschi, third year student at the Faculty of Letters (English-Korean) enchanted guests with a dance and taekgyeon (old form of takwondo).

A show that will bring closer two nations

"We conducted programs in over a hundred countries of the world! I want the wonderful landscapes of Moldova to be shown on screens Koreans. Thus, our nations will get closer in the cultural and touristic fields. My desire is to bring Korean tourists to Moldova, that they may admire a country with a pleasant climate, with fertile land and, especially, with wonderful people, " producer Yi Gi Nam says.

KBS show is also an invitation to Moldovan citizens to visit Korea. "I was impressed by ULIM in an interview with Rector Andrei Galben, and I'll be happy to tell Koreans about that. Students at this university are special and prove a good knowledge of the Korean language. I know my fellow Koreans do not know almost anything of Moldova, that young people here adore Korea, cherish it and they learn our language, " the Korean journalist noted.
