Relaunching the cooperation between ULIM and British Council

Today, the representatives of British Council of Ukraine – Mr. Simon Etherton and Mrs. Victoria Ivanishcheva made a working visit at ULIM. The high guests came with the initiative to relaunch the cooperation between ULIM and British Council by developing new didactic projects according to the new methodologies. The representatives of British Council of Ukraine met Mrs. Elena Prus, vice-rector for research, Mr. Vladimir Chirinciuc, vice-rector for international relations, Mrs. Valentina Ciumacenco, director of International Cooperation Center and Mrs. Inga Stoianova, interim dean of the Faculty of Letters.

Students and didactic staff enjoy of direct access to the didactic resources of Great Britain

The initiative to revive the cooperation belongs to the Embassy of Great Britain at Chisinau and British Council of Ukraine. On this occasion, the guests visited the British Center of ULIM, inaugurated for the first time in the Republic of Moldova in 1997 and equipped with a rich collection of artistic literature, manuals and dictionaries, offered by British Council. The representatives of British Council appreciated the functioning dynamism of this university structure at ULIM, proof that is an institution opened to external partnerships, where the students and the didactic staff enjoy of direct resources of Great Britain. The guests promised that they will offer as soon as possible the support for the development of British Center of ULIM.
